Job summary

Pembury Legal in London is seeking a Senior Conflicts Lawyer to join the firm's risk function. Based in the London office, you will lead conflicts checks for new clients and advise on ethics, risk strategy and multi-jurisdictional compliance for high-profile matters.

The role offers direct interaction with partners across jurisdictions and a chance to shape risk protocols at a leading global law firm.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience in conflicts or risk management within a large law firm.
Experience handling cross-border, multi-jurisdictional conflicts and ethics screening.
Ability to advise partners and oversee new client onboarding for complex matters.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary adviser on partner conflict queries across the global firm.
Oversee conflicts research for new clients and matters.
Identify and resolve complex conflict issues involving corporate structures and transactions.
Provide guidance on legal ethics, screening procedures, and conflict waivers.
Draft and review engagement and waiver letters; monitor ethics screens.
Contribute to development of conflicts and intake policies; advise on multi-jurisdictional rules.
