Job summary

Matchtech Group seeks a Configuration Engineer/Manager to support highly regulated, national programmes. You will protect engineering data, manage baselines, and govern change control across project lifecycles, working with multi-disciplinary teams.

Based in Reading on a hybrid basis, the role requires SC or DV clearance and a strong track record in configuration management within regulated environments. You will engage stakeholders and audit readiness throughout the programme lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience in Configuration Management and change control processes.
• Strong understanding of lifecycle governance for engineering data.
• Experience managing baselines and configuration records.
• Knowledge of engineering change processes and governance.
• Experience producing configuration status reports and MI.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Configuration Items across engineering programmes.
• Ensure documentation and artefacts are uniquely identified and version controlled.
• Maintain configuration records in CM system and repository.
• Establish and control approved engineering baselines.
• Coordinate change requests and support technical reviews.
• Produce configuration reports and track baseline evolution.
