Job summary

We are seeking a senior development engineer to lead concept engineering and maturation, turning market insights into robust design concepts and testable prototypes that can be evaluated rapidly.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Design Research, Industrial Design and Electrical Engineering to balance consumer needs, feasibility and manufacturability, delivering evidence-based decisions and clear progress updates for stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Product Design or Mechanical Engineering.
• 8+ years in Advanced Development or concept engineering.
• Experience leading concept development and maturation activities.
• Strong systems thinking to translate needs into robust solutions.
• Excellent CAD and rapid prototype development skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of innovative product concepts and architectures.
• Translate design and market research into engineering solutions and proofs of concepts.
• Collaborate with Product Management to assess commercial potential of concepts.
• Define de-risking plans using rapid prototyping and experiments.
• Plan and lead technical work packages with risk awareness.
• Lead design and technical reviews with evidence-based decisions.
• Present updates to stakeholders on progress, schedule, cost, risks.
• Build high-quality prototypes to validate concepts and support testing.
• Collaborate with Design Research, Industrial Design, Technical Research and Electrical Engineering.
• Work with suppliers and global teams to accelerate development.
