Job summary

Gateley is seeking a Senior Compliance Officer to work with the Professional Regulation & Standards team. You will promote a culture of compliance, provide pragmatic advice, and support audits, training and policy updates across the business.

You will advise on regulatory matters, manage investigations, and liaise with the central Business Acceptance team on onboarding and due diligence in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in regulatory, risk or compliance in a professional services environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication with ability to produce reports and guidance.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements and apply them commercially.

Responsibilities

• Review and develop policies, controls and procedures to stay compliant and effective.
• Support regulatory risk management and governance responsibilities.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on regulatory matters to colleagues.
• Assist with investigations into breaches, incidents and complaints.
• Support client onboarding and anti-money laundering queries with due diligence.
