A global insurance provider in Scotland seeks an experienced compliance professional for the senior role of money laundering reporting officer (MLRO). Overview

Our client is a global provider of insurance based wealth solutions. For their Guernsey operation we are currently looking for an experienced compliance professional to take on the senior position of money laundering reporting officer (MLRO).

Qualifications

• Minimum of six years experience at senior level in a compliance related role in a relevant financial services company.
• Experience of the insurance, wealth management and pensions industry will be an advantage.
• Relevant professional qualification such as ICA diploma.
• Knowledge of the Guernsey regulatory environment is essential; an existing relationship with the regulator will be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Hold the senior MLRO role for the Guernsey operation and oversee money laundering reporting and compliance activities.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, risk assessments and anti-money laundering controls in line with local requirements.
