Job Description

As a Senior Compliance Manager (Advisory) , you will be part of a Group Compliance Function which operates across both regulated and unregulated Group entities, providing oversight, assurance and insight in to conduct and compliance matters.

You will provide independent second line of defence compliance and conduct oversight, support and guidance in order to ensure that regulatory requirements, terminology, methods and tools are fully understood and being used in the first line.

As a Senior Compliance Manager (Advisory) we are looking for someone to:

• Provide the necessary advice and support to the first line, operating within the Compliance Advisory framework, to ensure that both the current and futureactivity of the company is customer centric and complies with regulatory obligations
• Ensure that conduct and regulatory risks are appropriately evaluated and escalated to deliver the right customer and operational outcomes.
• Support the Group Head of Compliance in contributing to the continuous improvement and development of the compliance advisory function.
• Oversee regulatory change management to deliver the right customer and operational outcomes first time with appropriate systems and controls
• Provide regulatory and conduct risk opinion on highly complex regulatory and discretionary change projects and programmes.

Qualifications

• Significant working knowledge of the regulatory handbooks and associated guides and codes relevant to Together
• Experience of the Senior Manager and Certification Regime
• A detailed understanding of regulatory permissions and practical authorisation processes
• Ability to understand, interpret and apply regulatory standards to internal governance arrangements
• Previous experience in a senior compliance role
• A natural appetite and inquisitive mind for horizon-scanning
