The Firm

Our client, a Top 100 UK law firm, is looking to expand their Risk and Compliance team with a new Senior Compliance Manager.

The firm is known for its collaborative environment and values-driven culture, emphasizing being visionary, authentic, responsible, and united.

The Opportunity

This new role supports the expansion of the firm's regulatory and compliance capabilities. As part of a team of seven, you will:

  • Assist in developing and improving compliance frameworks and controls
  • Conduct and review CDD/KYC for diverse, high-risk clients
  • Contribute to risk assessments and policy updates in response to regulations
  • Support the Director of Risk & Compliance with leadership and guidance
  • Mentor junior staff and deliver training to promote compliance awareness
  • Lead projects to enhance compliance processes and strategic development

This role offers high visibility and the chance to significantly influence risk and compliance management.

The position is based in London, with occasional travel to regional offices. Hybrid working (up to 2 days remote) is available.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ compliance experience within a UK law firm
  • Strong knowledge of SRA regulations, AML, anti-bribery, cybersecurity, and compliance issues
  • Experience with CDD/KYC, high-risk onboarding, and SARs
  • Proven ability to draft and implement compliance policies and procedures
  • Collaborative, pragmatic, and resilient problem-solver
