Job summary

Edenbrook Ltd. is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory, conduct and product governance across Syndicate and related MGA entities in the London market.

You will provide risk-based guidance, ensure FCA, PRA and Lloyd's compliance, and lead critical regulatory reporting and investigations. The role requires a deep understanding of Lloyd's risk framework, strong stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and a track record of upholding consumer duty and anti-financial

Qualifications

• 8+ years of compliance experience, ideally across Lloyd's and London Market insurance.
• Experience with FCA, PRA and Lloyd's regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Syndicate and MGA compliance framework, ensuring FCA, PRA, Lloyd's adherence.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, submissions, audits, inspections and responses.
• Monitor regulatory developments and advise senior stakeholders on emerging risks.
• Lead conduct risk oversight and FCA Consumer Duty implementation.
• Oversee product governance, fair value assessments, and Product Oversight Group activities.
• Monitor conduct risk MI, complaints trends and remediation of systemic issues.
• Oversee financial crime and sanctions compliance controls.

Job description

Newly created Senior Compliance Manager opportunity working with a rapidly growing specialty insurer operating in the Lloyd’s market. In this role, you will provide oversight of the compliance, conduct and regulatory framework across the Syndicate and associated MGA’s.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the Syndicate and MGA compliance framework, ensuring adherence to FCA, PRA, Lloyd’s requirements.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting, submissions, audits, inspections and responses.
• Monitor regulatory developments, advising senior stakeholders on emerging risks and providing risk-based challenge.
• Lead conduct risk oversight, promoting a strong compliance culture and supporting FCA Consumer Duty implementation and customer outcome initiatives.
• Oversee product governance, fair value assessments, distribution arrangements and Product Oversight Group (POG) activities.
• Monitor conduct risk MI, complaints trends and root cause analysis, ensuring systemic issues are escalated and remediated.
• Oversee financial crime and sanctions compliance frameworks, ensuring effective controls, screening, referrals and escalation processes.
• Influence and engage senior stakeholders with credibility and confidence.
• Deliver clear, practical and commercially focused compliance guidance.

Qualifications and Experience

• Experience within the Lloyd's and London Market insurance sector.
• 8+ years' compliance experience, ideally with a wide breadth of compliance knowledge
