LNJ Recruitment Limited is recruiting a Compliance Manager for a growing insurance group in London. The role provides oversight across governance, risk and regulatory compliance, working closely with senior stakeholders and the Group Compliance Director.

You will monitor FCA regulatory developments, coordinate responses to inquiries, and help embed robust governance and regulatory change across the organisation.

Compliance Manager (Insurance Industry)

LNJ Recruitment is working on behalf of a growing insurance group to recruit a Compliance Manager.

This is a broad and influential compliance role, working closely with the Group Compliance Director and senior stakeholders across the business. You'll play an important part in strengthening the organisation's governance framework, managing regulatory obligations and helping the business respond effectively to regulatory change.

The role would suit someone with strong insurance compliance experience who enjoys the governance and operational side of compliance, rather than purely monitoring or advisory work.

The Role

You'll provide oversight, coordination and regulatory expertise across a range of governance, risk and compliance activities, helping ensure compliance remains embedded across the organisation.

• Key responsibilities will include:Supporting the development and ongoing delivery of the Group Compliance Plan
• Monitoring FCA and wider regulatory developments and helping the business implement regulatory change
• Supporting interactions with the FCA and coordinating responses to regulatory requests and enquiries
• Maintaining and enhancing governance frameworks
• Supporting SMCR, including Statements of Responsibilities and Responsibility Maps
• Supporting oversight of Threshold Conditions, Adequate Resources assessments and associated governance reporting
• Coordinating Compliance involvement across areas including Operational Resilience, Wind-Down Planning and Third-Party Risk Management
• Supporting assurance activity and ensuring agreed actions are completed
• Providing compliance support across acquisitions, integrations and wider business change
• Producing meaningful governance insight to support risk management and senior decision-making
• Working closely with stakeholders across Compliance, Risk and the wider business

What We're Looking For

You’ll need a strong understanding of FCA regulation and previous experience working within a Compliance function in the insurance industry.
