What you’ll do

The Senior Compliance Manager Business Partnering is responsible for the effective engagement management and execution of market and functional business partnering to ensure markets and operations are fulfilling their obligations to comply with Vodafone Group Compliance obligations. The role provides oversight of compliance risk stewardship in markets & operations.
The role requires strong senior-level engagement with 2nd line Compliance leaders, Exco, Policy Champions, and other key senior stakeholders.

The Senior Compliance Manager Business Partnering requires strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills to colloborate with markets regarding the CMS implementation & oversight and to provide assurances that the CMS is operating effectively.
You will be responsible for leading the business partnering programme development and supporting its maturity and continous improvement of the Compliance Management System.
The Senior Compliance Manager Business Partnering team be the prime point of contact for 2nd line Market and Management on gerenal compliance proactive advisory, guidance, training and oversight to assure the group compliance obligations are effectively executed leveraging key data, information, insights from Group CMS pillar and Financial Crime pillar.

  • Managing and maturity of the compliance partnering programme within Vodafone Group covering all generalist CMS policy, process, training and communications. Identifying opportunities for advisory optimisation through shared services and digitisation
  • Developing and maturing effective monitoring and oversight models in conjunction with key Vodacom Group
  • Driving the compliance value proposition ensuring compliance is seen as a business enabler.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Drive global best practice in compliance.
Who you are
  • Minimum 8 years previous experience in the area of Compliance and/or ethics and/or risk management
  • Proven track record in compliance management and business partnering to effect change and collaboration.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience of working across markets with cross cultural sensitivity
  • Fluency in English is mandatory, with additional language skills an advantage
  • Must have technical / professional qualifications: Relevant degree in either accounting, law or other discipline or compliance qualification/certification
