Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd in Dartford is seeking a Product Compliance Engineer with a strong automotive background to lead type approvals and conformity of production, translating evolving global legislation into internal requirements.

You'll work closely with engineering, quality, product and procurement teams to ensure products remain compliant across multiple international markets, with occasional travel to manufacturing partners.

Qualificações

Are you a Product Compliance Engineer, Homologation Engineer or Type Approval Engineer with a strong background in the Automotive industry? Would you like to take ownership of complex compliance activity and become the go-to technical specialist?

You will lead new type approvals and extensions, manage Conformity of Production requirements across the supply chain, and translate evolving global legislation into clear internal requirements. Alongside this, you will work closely with engineering, quality, product and procurement teams to ensure products remain compliant across multiple international markets.

The Role:

• Leading Type Approval / Homologation activity, including new approvals, extensions, regulation revisions and cessation of production
• Managing Conformity of Production (CoP) requirements across the supply chain
• Maintaining and owning documented compliance processes, procedures and records
• Co-ordinating compliance requirements including CE / UKCA, EMC, RoHS, REACH, WEEE, IMDS and related sustainability regulations
• Office-based in Dartford with occasional travel to manufacturing partners

The Person:

• Minimum 3 years' relevant industry experience in a customer/supplier-facing environment
• Experience working within the automotive supply chain (Prime, Tier 1 or OEM)
• Background in Type Approval / Homologation / CoP and broader product compliance (e.g., CE/UKCA, RoHS/REACH, WEEE, IMDS)
