Job summary

Condukt is seeking a Senior Compliance Consultant in London to join our team. You will own regulatory relationships, translate requirements into product needs, and guide customers through complex compliance challenges.

You will work with government bodies and data providers to expand Condukt's footprint, staying ahead of UK and EU regulations while collaborating with our product and commercial teams. This role suits a proactive, strategic thinker ready to influence a fast-growing fintech

Qualifications

• Deep domain expertise in risk and compliance, ideally across KYB/KYC, AML/CFT, or business onboarding.
• Experience advising financial institutions on risk, compliance, or regulatory matters with adaptable frameworks.
• Strong background in vendor assessment and selection, including RFP processes.
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with C-suite stakeholders and government agencies.
• A legal background, or solid working knowledge of financial regulation and how legislation translates into operational requirements.
• Sound judgement and tact in sensitive situations; know what to communicate, to whom, and when.
• Analytical rigor to deep-dive complex legislation with a self-starter mindset in fast-moving environments.

Responsibilities

• Establish & maintain relationships with government bodies, registers, and regulatory authorities to expand Condukt's global footprint.
• Stay ahead of risk and compliance legislation across the UK, Europe, and beyond, and communicate horizons to customers.
• Work directly with customers to understand requirements and design solutions combining Condukt's platform with third-party providers.
• Partner with Product to translate regulatory and customer needs into signals, data, and capabilities to build.
• Identify opportunities to bring newly developed capabilities to existing customers with our commercial team.
• Identify, test, and benchmark best-in-class data and service providers through structured evaluations (RFP-style).
• Contribute to Condukt's thought leadership with clear, well-argued views on regulation via whitepapers and briefings.
