Job summary

Severn Trent is seeking a Senior Compliance and Assurance Analyst to join our Coventry-based team. This high‑profile role covers internal and external regulatory investigations and ensuring responses meet statutory standards and SLAs.

You’ll report to the Group Compliance Manager, coordinating environmental information requests and delivering assurance across the organisation while maintaining independence and integrity.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, assurance, risk, governance or regulatory environments.
• Ability to interpret complex information and provide clear, practical recommendations.
• Build strong relationships and influence stakeholders across all levels.
• Promote a culture of accountability, compliance and continuous improvement.
• Support regulatory investigations, casework and reporting to professional standards.
• Identify emerging risks, trends and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Champion a culture of compliance and assurance excellence for the business.
• Oversee Environmental Information Requests under the Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
• Own and deliver the Group Compliance and Assurance programme of work.
• Provide strategic oversight and assurance of key controls and testing approaches.
