Job summary

AIG is hiring a Complex Motor Claims Handler in Manchester to manage a portfolio of complex motor claims from cradle to grave. Qualifications

• Experience in handling complex motor claims, including third party property damage and credit hire where applicable.
• Solid understanding of end-to-end claims procedures and familiarity with claims systems.
• Strong communication skills with internal teams, brokers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of complex motor claims from cradle to grave with a proactive, cost-conscious approach.
• Triaged and answered incoming claim enquiries from brokers and customers, providing timely responses per targets.
• Oversee incoming court documents, liaising with internal teams, TPAs and panel lawyers to drive necessary actions.
• Coordinate with Courts and Claimant Representatives to obtain required information.
• Support the motor claims team with ad hoc tasks and maintain accurate claim file data.
