Job summary

The Christie Private Care in Manchester is seeking a Bank Complementary Therapist to deliver reflexology, massage and aromatherapy to patients. The role offers shift flexibility across the bank and close collaboration with consultants and clinical teams.

Applicants should have recognised reflexology/massage/aromatherapy training, CNHC registration, and experience with cancer patients. Oncology training is desirable, with strong communication and audit involvement supporting excellent patient

Qualifications

• Recognised training in Reflexology/Massage/Aromatherapy (e.g. IFA, AOR).
• Registration with CNHC.
• Experience working with cancer patients.
• Desirable: Additional training within Oncology.
• Advanced communication skills.
• Participation in clinical supervision.
• Knowledge of cancer, its impact and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide complementary therapies to in-patients and outpatients across Manchester-based facilities.
• Work within the bank on a range of shifts and collaborate with clinical teams.
• Attend relevant supervision and audit activities as part of the therapy service.
• Maintain accurate records and communicate treatment plans with the care team.
