Qualifications

• 8+ years of PQE with competition law experience in a reputable legal team.
• Expertise in Abuse of dominance and merger control issues.
• Familiarity with competition law compliance programmes.

Responsibilities

• Strengthen internal policies, including dawn raid procedures.
• Monitor regulatory developments across jurisdictions.
• Provide advice in connection with acquisitions and distribution structures.

We are proud to be partnering with a global organisation seeking to appoint a strategic and dynamic Competition Lawyer to support its European operations across a wide range of competition law matters. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in shaping the transformation of the organisation’s global legal function.

As a trusted business partner, you will :

• Help define and implement competition compliance strategy
• Advise on merger control and broader competition law issues
• Review and strengthen internal policies, including dawn raid procedures
• Monitor regulatory and policy developments across relevant jurisdictions
• Provide competition and merger control advice in connection with acquisitions and distribution structures

We are keen to hear from candidates who bring :

• Circa 8+ years’ PQE with strong academic credentials
• Robust competition law experience within a reputable in-house legal team, covering multiple jurisdictions
• Broad-ranging expertise, particularly in Abuse of dominance, Horizontal and vertical agreements, M&A matters, Designing and implementing competition law compliance programmes
• Excellent communication skills, commercial acumen and adaptability
• A hands‑on approach and the flexibility to support on other workstreams as required
