Central London Community Healthcare NHS Trust (CLCH) is seeking a part-time Specialist Speech and Language Therapist (Band 6) for the Brent area. The post covers domiciliary and outpatient adult SLT with focus on community care homes, offering professional development and supervision.

You will work within a dynamic team delivering patient-centred care, with opportunities to engage in research, audits, and QI projects, and a supportive CPD-focused environment.

Qualifikationen

• Recognised SLT degree and HCPC registration.
• Experience with neurological and long-term conditions.
• Assessment and treatment of complex speech, language and swallowing needs.
• Experience supervising junior staff and delivering training.
• Commitment to CPD and service development.

Aufgaben

• Prioritise and manage a complex caseload, making evidence-based decisions.
• Assess and treat communication and swallowing needs across settings.
• Implement SLT treatment programmes and evaluate outcomes.
• Collaborate with MDTs and other professionals in care planning.
• Lead SLT triage for new referrals when required.
• Support service development, audits and QI projects.
