Role Overview:

The London Borough of Harrow is seeking a Senior Communications Officer to join their team. This role requires strong writing skills, media expertise, and the ability to manage both internal and external communications.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and execute communication plans to support organizational goals
  2. Create compelling content for print, digital, and social media platforms
  3. Manage media relations, including drafting press releases and responding to inquiries
  4. Oversee internal communications to ensure employees are informed and engaged
  5. Coordinate public relations campaigns and brand awareness initiatives
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communication strategies
  7. Collaborate with different departments to ensure consistent messaging
  8. Handle crisis communications and reputation management
Required Skills & Experience:
