Job summary

Slater Gordon seeks a Senior Communications Executive to join its Marketing team in Manchester. You will lead internal communications and support media relations, thought leadership and PR campaigns to protect and enhance the firm's reputation.

You will identify opportunities, manage multiple projects, build strong stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality content with minimal supervision. Excellent writing and commercial awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of PR and media relations strategy.
• Develop and execute PR plans supporting campaigns and thought leadership.
• Draft and distribute press releases, media statements and briefing documents.
• Manage media enquiries and coordinate interviews, case studies and spokesperson opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with journalists and industry contacts.
• Monitor news agenda and identify opportunities for proactive engagement.
• Oversee relationships with external broadcast PR agencies and report outcomes.
• Ensure all media activity aligns with brand and strategic objectives.
