Job summary

CAMFED International seeks a Senior Communications Manager — Partnerships and Campaigns to lead donor communications and movement-building campaigns from a Cambridge-based hybrid UK office. Reporting to the Director of Communications, you will shape bespoke plans with Relationship Managers and drive global campaigns with cross-team collaboration.

You will manage a team, tailor messaging for institutional and donor audiences, and ensure content aligns with CAMFED’s safeguarding and brand

Qualifications

• Proven track record of leading communications deliverables for strategic partners.
• Experience in line management and staff development.
• Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling with ethical storytelling—especially with underrepresented communities.
• Ability to tailor content to institutional, corporate and public audiences.
• Experience across video, digital, social, thought leadership and media.
• Willingness to travel internationally for events and partnerships.
• Strong risk and reputation management understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead donor partnership communications and bespoke plans in collaboration with Relationship Managers.
• Coordinate with Senior Project Manager and Director of Communications for alignment.
• Align partner content with CAMFED brand voice and safeguarding policies.
• Develop donor-facing reports and impact communications.
• Lead CAMFED awareness campaigns across key moments (IWD, Child Day, Girl Day).
• Oversee external engagement strategy with partners.
• Support content strategy and train junior staff.
