Job summary

About the Team:

You will join the Public Health Team, which has over 50 people from a variety of disciplines. You will work to the lead commissioner within the substance misuse team on the commissioning and contract management of a range of substance misuse providers and services in Lambeth.

About the Role:

Essential to this fixed term role is experience of commissioning and contract management of services, ideally with knowledge of substance misuse services. We require an experienced senior commissioning officer to manage a range of substance misuse contracts, working with providers to improve the health outcomes of Lambeth residents. The role with support the lead commissioner’s review of existing services and procurement of future services.

You’ll know that we are commissioning within a challenging financial environment. A drive to work efficiently within a fast-paced environment is required. You will feel rewarded working with services and programmes dedicated to providing high quality and responsive services to the people of Lambeth.

This role is currently available on 12-month fixed-term contract.
