Job summary

Samuel Frank is recruiting an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning programme on a major Energy from Waste facility in County Durham, with HTI experience. The role requires taking ownership from mechanical completion through to performance testing and final handover on a 5-month contract outside IR35.

Qualifications

• Experience leading commissioning on complex process plants.
• Proven track record of taking ownership from mechanical completion through to handover.
• Strong knowledge of safety and regulatory requirements for major industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the complete commissioning programme from mechanical completion through to final handover.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including mechanical, electrical, controls, instrumentation and process engineering.
• Own commissioning plans, schedules, readiness reviews and documentation.
• Direct loop checks, instrument calibration, PLC, DCS and SCADA testing.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance throughout the commissioning phase.
• Coordinate with EPC contractors, vendors, operations and senior management.
