Qualifications

• Experience across Project Planning, Estimating and Cost Control.
• Senior Commercial Manager / Project Controls leadership experience.
• Strong understanding of engineering, project management interfaces.
• Experience implementing and managing commercial processes.
• Strong planning and scheduling software experience.
• Experience managing and developing teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop Estimating, Cost, Planning and Document Control personnel.
• Manage and escalate commercial and contractual matters.
• Identify and mitigate commercial and delivery risks.
• Review project schedules and agree mitigation plans.
• Provide monthly commercial and project controls reporting.
• Maintain strong commercial governance and delegated authority controls.
• Oversee planning and scheduling practices across the contract.
• Manage Work Breakdown Structures and project coding structures.
• Monitor KPIs and implement corrective actions where performance falls below expectations.
• Support recruitment, performance management and development of the commercial/project controls team.
• Work collaboratively across engineering, project management, construction and supporting functions.
