Job summary

BJF Group in Farnborough is seeking a highly competent Commercial Plumber/Mechanical Engineer to manage, install, maintain, and repair complex plumbing, heating, ventilation and drainage systems across commercial, industrial, and public sector sites. The role combines hands-on plumbing with mechanical engineering knowledge to ensure compliance with UK standards.

You will work from detailed schematics, test systems, diagnose faults, and ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing and Heating completed.
• Experience with commercial/industrial plumbing and mechanical maintenance.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair commercial hot and cold water systems and drainage.
• Work on heating systems and HVAC for commercial properties.
• Interpret schematics and drawings to perform installations to spec.
• Conduct system testing, fault diagnosis and compliance checks to UK standards.
• Ensure adherence to Building Regulations and Water Regulations (WRAS).
