Job summary

EDF Energy Limited seeks a Senior Commercial Manager for Sizewell C in Leiston. The role is hybrid, permanent full-time, reporting to a Supply Chain Lead.

You will manage commercial aspects of contracts, support procurement strategies and ensure alignment with project objectives, governance and regulatory requirements. Essential experience includes leading complex procurements, contract administration, and strong negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• Member of a recognised professional body or equivalent.
• Proven ability to manage procurement and post-procurement activities on a large project.
• Experience administering complex contracts and supplier relationships.
• Strong leadership, negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong understanding of procurement, contract performance metrics, risk, and change management.
• Experience with NEC and FIDIC forms on major programmes.

Responsibilities

• Report to Supply Chain Lead and oversee all commercial issues for assigned contracts.
• Develop procurement and contracting strategies aligned with project objectives.
• Manage procurement schedules, governance approvals and contract formation activities.
• Administer contract closure, lessons learnt and post-contract performance.
• Engage with regulators and stakeholders to ensure compliance and value.
