Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd. are seeking a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial function on a major infrastructure programme in Kent.

You will own the project commercial strategy, manage financial performance and mentor the commercial team. The role requires strong NEC contract knowledge, proven leadership of a commercial team, and excellence in forecasting, reporting and stakeholder engagement with senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial management experience within infrastructure, civil engineering or major construction.
• Experience managing a commercial team.
• Strong knowledge of subcontracting and procurement processes.
• Excellent forecasting, reporting and contract knowledge (NEC) requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial team across the project.
• Develop and implement the commercial strategy.
• Manage project financial performance and cost-to-complete processes.
• Oversee change, compensation events and variations.
• Mentor and develop Quantity Surveyors and Assistant QSs.
