Job summary

United Infrastructure is seeking an experienced Senior Commercial Manager to support the Liverpool Bay Carbon Capture Scheme, working closely with Eni on a major UK energy transition project. You will lead commercial activities, ensure financial performance and contractual compliance across key work packages.

The role requires a proven track record in senior commercial leadership within energy, utilities, or EPC projects, with NEC/EPC contract knowledge and strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager.
• Background in energy, utilities, infrastructure, oil & gas, or EPC projects.
• Knowledge of NEC and/or EPC contracts.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the commercial management of major project work packages.
• Manage contract administration, change control, and commercial reporting.
• Oversee project costs, forecasting, and financial performance.
• Identify and manage commercial risks and opportunities.
• Support subcontract procurement and supply chain management.
• Negotiate commercial agreements with clients and subcontractors.
• Work closely with operational and project teams to support successful delivery.
• Mentor and develop commercial team members.

About You

• Proven experience in a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager role.
• Strong background in energy, utilities, infrastructure, oil & gas, or EPC projects.
• Excellent knowledge of NEC and/or EPC contracts.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and financial management skills.
• Experience managing high-value projects and stakeholder relationships.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline.
