Michael Page is recruiting for a Senior Commercial Manager to lead all commercial activities on a complex Healthcare PFI contract in the Midlands. The role oversees profitability, procurement, and governance across lifecycle programmes, reporting to senior stakeholders and guiding commercial teams.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Healthcare/Facilities Management, strong PFI knowledge, and a proven ability to drive commercial improvements and financial performance.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager in FM, Healthcare Estates or Infra services.
• Strong understanding of Healthcare PFI contracts and payment mechanisms.
• Experience managing complex contractual relationships and lifecycle programmes.
• Proven track record delivering commercial improvements and financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading commercial teams in a high-value service environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with strategic and analytical mindset.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar.
• MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent qualification desirable.

Profile

The ideal Senior Commercial Manager candidate will possess:

• Proven experience as a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial Manager within Facilities Management, Healthcare Estates or Infrastructure services.
• Strong understanding of Healthcare PFI contracts and payment mechanisms.
• Experience managing complex contractual relationships and lifecycle programmes.
• Demonstrable success delivering commercial improvements and financial performance.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Experience leading commercial teams within a high-value service environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with a strategic and analytical mindset.
• Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or similar discipline.
• MRICS, MCIOB or equivalent qualification desirable.
