Job summary

Aon plc in Bromsgrove is seeking a Senior Account Handler to support the Commercial Insurance team. You will administer client insurance needs including enquiries, renewals, mid-term adjustments, quotations and claims support, while ensuring FCA compliance.

The role focuses on relationship-building, accurate reporting and collaboration with directors. With 3–5 years in commercial insurance and ACII ambitions, this on-site position offers development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in a Commercial Insurance Broking environment
• Experience as Insurance Account Handler, Broker or Client Service Executive or related role
• Knowledge of cross-class commercial insurance classes
• Strong insurance technical ability
• Ability to collate information and produce reports
• Good communication at all levels and interface with clients and service providers
• Experience sourcing and providing insurance advice and solutions
• Proactive, able to work solo or in a team
• Acturis experience would be preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high level professional advice and all-round service in client relationships
• Answer general enquiries, renewals, midterm adjustments and obtain quotations
• Lead a range of larger client insurance programs
• Handle a varied range of new business enquiries and market presentations
• Act as a technical referral point within the team and mentor less-expert members
• Engage with senior directors and executives in client engagement
• Identify cross-selling opportunities where appropriate
• Utilise leading technology and infrastructure to perform duties efficiently
