Job summary

Artisan is partnering with a rapidly growing Facilities Management company to appoint an experienced Commercial Gas & Mechanical Manager. Based from Gosport, you will lead the Mechanical Department, manage engineers and subcontractors, and drive projects from inquiry to completion.

You will price remedial and project works, conduct site surveys, and provide technical support while ensuring safety, compliance and high standards across all works.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in commercial gas and mechanical management.
• Experience leading engineers and subcontractors in FM/MEP environments.
• Ability to price remedial works and projects with attention to cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Commercial Gas Engineers and subcontractors.
• Plan and allocate engineers' daily workloads.
• Carry out site surveys and attend client meetings.
• Price remedial works, projects and maintenance contracts.
• Manage projects from quotation through to completion.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engineers.
• Review RAMS, certification and compliance documentation.
• Monitor project costs, labour and material expenditure.
• Order materials and liaise with suppliers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Identify additional works and commercial opportunities.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
