Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR seeks an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer for service, maintenance and installation work across the M4 corridor and beyond. The role covers servicing, breakdown repairs and new installations with occasional overnight stays, requiring strong commercial gas expertise.

You will join a growing team in a varied role that offers a competitive salary (£45,000–£50,000), a company van and fuel card, and an 8% employer pension.

Qualifications

• Ideally 5+ years post-qualification experience in commercial gas engineering.
• Strong experience in servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of commercial gas systems.
• Experience with commercial heating and mechanical installations.
• Good knowledge of pipework, pump sets and related plumbing systems.
• Ability to work independently and travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive breakdown repairs.
• Installing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Undertaking mechanical installation work, including pipework and pumps.
• Travel to sites across the region, with occasional overnight stays.
