Job summary

Pertemps is recruiting a Commercial Gas Engineer for service, maintenance and installation across the M4 Corridor and beyond. The role covers varied projects, with travel to London, Cardiff, Reading and Newbury, and overnight stays as required.

A strong commercial gas background and C-and-mechanical installations experience are essential. You will join a growing team with a competitive salary (£45,000–£50,000), generous benefits including an 8% employer pension, and a company van with fuel card

Qualifications

• At least five years of post-qualification experience in commercial gas engineering.
• Strong experience in servicing, maintenance and breakdowns of commercial gas systems.
• Experience with commercial heating and mechanical installations.
• Knowledge of pipework, pump sets and related plumbing/heating systems.
• Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out reactive breakdown repairs.
• Installing commercial gas and heating systems.
• Undertaking mechanical installation work, including pipework and pumps.
• Travel across the region with occasional overnight stays.
