Job summary

Doka UK is seeking a Contract Manager to lead the preparation, review and execution of contracts across customers and suppliers. You will support tender processes, advise project teams on contractual terms and ensure cost control and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract management, and financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Experience negotiating and managing high-value contracts.
• Experience within construction, engineering, manufacturing, facilities management, or infrastructure sectors preferred.
• Demonstrated experience managing subcontractor and client relationships

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation, review, negotiation, and execution of customer, supplier, and subcontractor contracts.
• Completing Pre-Qualification Questions, reviewing NDA, SLA, PSA and assisting in Tenders.
• Support tender and bid processes by reviewing contractual terms and conditions.
• Support project managers and operational teams with contract interpretation and guidance.
• Preparing Applications for payment where applicable (minimal).
• Evaluate contractual implications of project decisions and changes.
• Maintaining qualifications such as Constructionline, Builders Profile, etc.
• Ensuring maintenance Contracts are in place.
• Improve Cost Control.
• Customer & Supplier Monitoring Sheet - process for ongoing renewals and reviews.
• Compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company procedures.
• Maintain local policies and procedures in Consense in line with Head Office policies.
• Ensure contract documentation is secure, up-to-date, and readily accessible.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Ensure commercial governance and risk management compliance
• Drive continuous improvement in commercial processes
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Contract compliance, reduction in contractual risks, successful management of claims and disputes, timely contract execution and renewal, customer satisfaction, audit results
