Masdar is seeking a senior market analyst to deepen understanding of the UK battery storage landscape, including wholesale power dynamics, regulatory developments and revenue stacks.

You will lead commercial analysis, assess market changes, and support investment decisions with robust modelling, bid strategy input and route-to-market evaluation.

This role requires strong communication, strategic thinking and experience in energy markets to help Masdar grow its battery portfolio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an analytical / numerical subject, preferably Engineering, Economics, Statistics or Mathematics.
• Relevant Master’s degree is an asset.
• At least 4–6 years of experience in battery storage markets with market analysis and commercial operation.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain a strategic view of battery storage markets, starting with the UK.
• Assess and quantify the commercial impact of regulatory and market design changes.
• Lead market modelling and provide high‑quality market intelligence.
• Own routes to market evaluation, revenue models and investment inputs.
• Prepare updates and reports for management and stakeholders.
