Job summary

OnetoOne Personnel is recruiting an experienced Commercial Analyst for Theale, Berkshire, office-based 3-4 days per week. This hands-on role focuses on financial modelling and pricing, supporting long-term contracts with advanced Excel models.

You will work with Commercial Finance, Account Management and Operations, produce management information and KPIs, and present findings to senior stakeholders. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in a relevant role, advanced Excel, and a structured,

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' experience in a relevant or transferable role.
• 3+ years UK based relevant experience.
• Advanced Excel skills with complex formulas.
• Experience supporting bids, tenders or new business cases.
• Commercial knowledge of pricing, margins and contract profitability.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Confidence questioning assumptions and challenging information.
• Ability to work independently and deliver tasks through to completion.
• Structured, organized and deadline-focused approach.
• Degree in a numerical, analytical, business or related subject.
• The ability to attend the Theale office three to four days each week.

Responsibilities

• Maintain robust and auditable Excel financial models.
• Manage multi-year models used for contract and business planning.
• Gather and validate financial, operational and commercial inputs.
• Review costs and challenge discrepancies or assumptions.
• Support bid pricing, tenders and new business cases.
• Analyse pricing, margins, deal value and contract profitability.
• Update models following contract variations and revised business plans.
• Maintain billing schedules, comparing actual invoices with forecasts.
• Produce management information, KPIs and contract variation statistics.
• Present complex financial information clearly to senior stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records and audit trails.
• Take ownership of day-to-day requests and contract administration.
