Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join a professional team covering Gloucester, Bristol and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and fault-find commercial air conditioning systems to high standards.

The role involves PPM, breakdowns, compressor changes, and working with VRV/VRF equipment, with a focus on safety and customer service. A full driving licence and F-Gas certification are required, along with strong diagnostic skills.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial air conditioning engineering.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Hands-on experience with compressor changes and major component repairs.
• Good working knowledge of VRV and VRF systems.
• Professional approach to customers, colleagues and health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and servicing of commercial air conditioning systems.
• Attending breakdowns, diagnosing faults and carrying out effective repairs.
• Compressor changes and associated component replacements.
• Working on VRV and VRF systems, including fault-finding and repairs.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Building positive relationships with customers and providing a professional service.
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation accurately.
