Job summary

Trident Recruitment Ltd seeks an experienced Chiller Engineer or Air Conditioning Engineer to join a Bristol-based HVAC team. You will service, commission and repair chiller and air conditioning systems across commercial and industrial sites, ensuring safety and high standards.

Key responsibilities include maintenance, fault-finding, and system improvements with a range of equipment from multiple manufacturers. Applicants should have F-Gas 1, 3+ years' experience, and a clean UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• F-Gas Category 1 required.
• NVQ/City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Refrigeration or AC.
• Minimum of three years' industry experience.
• Experience with split systems, VRV/VRF equipment.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Good understanding of refrigeration principles and HVAC systems.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel and DBS check if required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance, servicing and commissioning of chiller and air conditioning systems.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs on liquid chillers and associated equipment.
• Service, maintain and improve cooling/heating system performance.
• Undertake fault-finding across refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.
• Work with various compressor technologies and manufacturers.
• Complete work to a high standard within agreed timescales and safety procedures.
• Produce accurate reports and service logs for site visits.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and site reps.
• Travel to customer sites as required to provide engineering support.
