Job summary

IQVIA is seeking an Associate Principal/Principal in COA Strategy Consulting. The role leads COA endpoint strategy across clinical programs, guiding instrument development and validation while engaging with regulators and sponsors.

You will mentor junior staff, contribute to scientific publications, and help shape new client offerings in a dynamic, global team. The position requires deep COA expertise across PRO/ObsRO/ClinRO/PerfO, hands-on instrument development, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

Deep expertise across COA types (PRO, ObsRO, ClinRO, PerfO) and their application in clinical research.
Hands-on experience developing new COA instruments, including item writing and qualitative validation.
Experience supporting FDA-facing endpoint strategy and regulatory interactions.
Strong publication record and credibility in outcomes research or COA measurement science.

Responsibilities

Develop COA endpoint strategies across clinical programs and regulatory submissions.
Lead COA instrument development from concept to validation-ready tools.
Mentor COA consultants and ensure high-quality scientific deliverables.
Support FDA meetings and other regulatory interactions as COA subject matter expert.
Contribute to business development through proposals and client engagements.
