Job summary

Ross Frank is seeking an experienced Senior CNC Miller Programmer to program, set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis machining centres, delivering high‑precision components to tight tolerances.

The role requires hands-on work with Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain, Mazatrol and GE2000 controls, and familiarity with Haas, Yasda, Mazak, Deckel Maho and MHP machines. You will interpret drawings, select tooling and optimise cycles for efficiency.

Qualifications

• Must have experience programming, setting and operating 3-5 axis CNC milling centres.
• Proficiency with Fanuc, Haas, Heidenhain, Mazatrol and GE2000 controls.
• Hands-on tooling selection and cycle-optimisation experience.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines to tight tolerances.
• Interpret engineering drawings and CAD data for manufacture.
• Select tooling and machining strategies.
• Carry out first-off inspections and optimise programmes for efficiency.
• Mentor less experienced machinists and support continuous improvement.
