Job summary

Roxel in the UK seeks a Manufacturing Engineering CMM Programmer to develop, validate and maintain LK Metrology CMM inspection programmes for high‑precision aerospace components. You will work with Manufacturing, Quality, Design and Production to optimise inspection strategies and support NPI while ensuring compliance with AS9100 and EN9100 standards.

The role requires extensive LK Metrology experience, GD&T mastery, and the ability to translate CAD models into robust, repeatable measurement

Qualifications

Experience programming LK Metrology CMMs in a precision manufacturing setting.
Strong GD&T knowledge and ability to interpret ASME Y14.5 or ISO GPS drawings.
Experience with aerospace/defence or highly regulated industries.
Demonstrated expertise in calibration, MSA/SPC and measurement system analysis.

Responsibilities

Develop, validate and optimise CMM inspection programmes for LK Metrology CMMs.
Interpret complex drawings and GD&T requirements to create robust inspection routines.
Support NPI by developing inspection strategies during product industrialisation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to embed inspection into design and manufacturing processes.
Reduce inspection cycle times while maintaining measurement integrity.
Investigate non-conformances and support root-cause analysis.
Create and maintain inspection documentation and reports; ensure configuration control.
Mentor inspectors and junior engineers in metrology best practices.
