Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer for AWS CloudFront in London. You will help design and build scalable edge services used by millions of users, including mentoring junior engineers and delivering reliable systems.

You will work in an agile team to ship features, optimise performance, and operate large-scale cloud services with a strong emphasis on technical excellence and customer impact.

Qualifications

• Experience mentoring, tech lead or leading an engineering team.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design.
• Experience in professional, non-internship software development.
• Experience leading the architecture and design of new and current systems.
• Experience in development in the last 3 years.
