Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) seeks a Senior Security Engineer to help build and manage services that detect and mitigate cybersecurity threats across its infrastructure. You will work with data scientists, software engineers, and other security engineers across multiple teams to develop innovative security solutions that protect AWS and its customers.

You will collaborate with UK-based security teams, drive threat modeling, and mentor junior engineers, while upholding the highest security standards

Qualifications

Experience with AWS services and cloud security.
Ability to identify security issues and develop mitigation plans.
Industry experience in vulnerabilities, attack patterns, and remediation.
Proficiency in scripting or programming and security code reviews.
Experience troubleshooting systems, parsing logs, and automating tasks via command line.
Previous roles as mentor, tech lead, or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities
