Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join UK Public Sector, Central Government. You will own the technical relationship with customers, guiding architectures for security, cost, performance and reliability across central government, public safety, transportation and state-owned entities.

You will influence roadmaps, mentor others, and help translate cloud-native reference architectures into tangible outcomes for the Public Sector in the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture.
• Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders.
• Experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
• Eligible and willing to undergo UK Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers, recommending security, cost, performance, reliability and best-practice architectures.
• Advocate for the customer to influence AWS roadmaps and help hire, coach and mentor others.
• Create and share best practices, technical content and reference architectures, and evangelise AWS technology.
