Nuclera, a Cambridge-based biotech company, is seeking an experienced full-stack software engineer to develop customer-facing cloud and instrument software as well as internal tools supporting our protein screening services.

You will work across backend, frontend, dev-ops and QA, define use-cases with biologists and stakeholders, translate requirements into designs, implement features, and write tests to verify correctness.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of industry software engineering experience.
• Experience across backend, frontend, DevOps and QA.
• Product-minded with end-to-end feature ownership.
• Willingness to learn biology; no biology background required.

Responsibilities

• Work on customer-facing cloud and instrument software and internal tools.
• Define use-cases and translate requirements into technical designs with stakeholders.
• Implement designs in code and write tests to verify correctness.
• Own codebase and keep it up-to-date with the latest best-practices.
