Vitality is seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for a permanent, hybrid role based in Bournemouth. You will deliver expert cloud security engineering, guide across teams, and drive proactive security practices with hands-on leadership in incident response and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of cloud security across modern environments.
• Experience across penetration testing (application and network), AppSec, vulnerability management.
• Understanding of Information Security principles, frameworks and regulatory requirements (ISO27001, FCA, PRA, ICO).

Responsibilities

• Provide expert security guidance and hands-on engineering support, embedding secure practices across the business.
• Strengthen controls and support security operations and incident response.
• Own and champion cloud security toolsets and provide second-line support.
• Strengthen configurations of security tooling across cloud environments and contribute to InfoSec initiatives.
• Monitor security systems and lead incident response, including on-call when required.
• Communicate complex concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for configurations and processes.
• Collaborate with architecture teams to design and deliver SOC capabilities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the information security posture.
