Job summary

Fundment Limited is seeking a Lead Cybersecurity Engineer to design, implement, and continually improve security across our cloud and IT infrastructure for a growing fintech platform.

You will translate security strategy into scalable automated controls, support secure-by-design principles, and drive regulatory compliance across the org. The role is hands-on with leadership responsibilities and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in cloud security engineering or infrastructure security.
• Experience securing Microsoft 365, Entra ID and Intune environments.
• Proven IAM solutions experience including SSO, MFA, and privileged access controls.
• Vulnerability management across cloud, servers and endpoints.
• Understanding SOC 2 and ISO 27001 controls, audits and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain cloud security controls across GCP.
• Design and improve cloud security architecture incl. identity, networking, data protection and workloads.
• Manage GCP security capabilities: IAM, VPC Service Controls, IAP, Security Command Center.
• Secure CI/CD pipelines with IaC validation, vulnerability scanning and secret detection.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
• Embed security by design into application development.
• Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Improve security monitoring, detection and automation.
