Job summary

Oliver Bernard are currently seeking a Senior Security Engineer to join a FinTech company in London. This is an initial 6 month contract with a flexible hybrid model (1 office day p/week), outside IR35, and can offer £425 - £525 p/day for the right profile.

The ideal candidate will have 7-8+ years of security experience, with hands-on skills in Microsoft Sentinel, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, Defender, Entra ID and CSPM, plus Snyk, NIST and emerging AI tooling.

Qualifications

• 7–8+ years of security experience in DevOps/CloudOps environments.
• Hands-on with Azure security services and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Terraform, PowerShell and secure cloud architectures.

Responsibilities

• Support CloudOps/Platform team in scaling through multiple Azure-focused projects.
