Job summary

LT Harper Recruitment Group seeks a Senior Security Engineer to deploy, tune and automate Defender and Sentinel for enterprise customers within a specialist Microsoft security practice. You’ll work hands-on in the Microsoft Cyber Engineering team, collaborating with SOC Analysts to sharpen detections and automate SOC processes, with clear training paths as the team grows.

The role is hybrid, mostly remote, with one day per month in the London office, offering exposure to multiple enterprise

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security products (Defender/Sentinel)
• Experience with SIEM platforms and cloud security assessments
• Ability to design automation and scripting in SIEM tools
• Fluent written and spoken English for client reports and calls

Responsibilities

• Implement and support Defender and Sentinel for enterprise customers
• Perform cloud security assessments and architecture reviews
• Design, build and deploy automation across the SOC
• Collaborate with SOC Analysts to improve detections and automate workflows
• Research new technologies and document security processes
• Draft customer-facing reports and support junior engineers
