Placements24 seeks a Senior Cloud Security Architect to design, implement and maintain robust security for cloud environments in a fully remote role across South Africa.

You will drive security across AWS, Azure and GCP, lead threat modeling, and ensure secure SDLC while collaborating with development and operations teams.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in information security and strong communication skills for a remote-first setup.

Formación

• Minimum 8 years in information security with 5+ years in cloud security.
• Experience designing security architectures on AWS/Azure/GCP.
• Knowledge of NIST and ISO 27001 compliance requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement security solutions for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Develop and enforce cloud security policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular security assessments, penetration testing, and vulnerability management.
• Manage IAM, data encryption, and network security controls.
• Lead threat modeling and incident response planning for cloud systems.
• Collaborate with development and operations to embed security in the SDLC.
