Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts
• Hands‑on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience delivering production‑grade solutions using Java, Spring, Go, Python, Terraform, and/or Kubernetes
• Practical cloud‑native experience building and operating services on at least one public cloud provider
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods (CI/CD)
• Working understanding of agile development practices, application resiliency, and security fundamentals
• Hands‑on experience using enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools with ability to evaluate and refine outputs
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations
• Strong communication skills with ability to adapt messages for technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to evaluate technical solutions with a customer-focused mindset

Responsibilities

• Executes software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting across complex problems
• Creates secure, high-quality production code; reviews, debugs, and maintains code written by others
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve quality, speed, and productivity with peer review and testing
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and platform value
• Produces architecture and design artifacts ensuring security, resiliency, and maintainability
• Participates in design reviews and technical discussions to ensure scalable delivery
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation for operational stability
• Collaborates to adopt tools and frameworks that improve developer experience
• Contributes to knowledge sharing through demos, docs, and communities
• Promotes a culture of diversity, inclusion, and continuous improvement
